Grizzly Waters Kayaking
Welcome to the Bay Area’s newest paddling access spot. We are currently offering activities such as rentals, basic lessons, tours, SUP yoga and team building with kayaks and stand up paddle boards. Located on the Suisun City Waterfront District near I-80 and off of Hwy 12, we have access to the Suisun Marsh that is part of the Bay Area Water Trail and the Pacific Flyway which is visited by migrating birds from Alaska to South America. We are located in between San Francisco and Sacramento and just minutes away from the nearest wineries and Napa Valley. Call or email us for questions or reservations. Reservations recommended!
Grizzly Waters Kayaking is named after the Grizzly Island Wildlife Area that is located in the Suisun Estuary, which is the largest on the west coast. The company was formed with the idea to get people outside and active. Our mission is to make people aware of their surroundings and get connected to the community.
Owner James, is a native Colombian who was adopted to the US. His passions include everything outdoors, finding secret swimming holes and hot springs, world travel, photography, wine and beer, and meeting new people. He is a professional healthcare worker and kayak guide. James has certifications in Basic Life Support, Advance Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and has taken the Wilderness First Aid course.
