My diverse background includes a history of business, corporate sales, team management and a degree in intercultural communications. This has enhanced my ability to think outside of the box and focus on maximizing the return on investments for my Real Estate Clients. I am also well known for my collaborative working style both within and between dynamic business organizations.
I obtained a BA in Speech Communications, with an emphasis in Intercultural Communications from San Francisco State University. I am a Licensed Real Estate Agent throughout the State of California.

As a long time Solano County resident, I know from experience the multi-fold benefits to both businesses and families for choosing this incredibly centralized, convenient and affordable location within Northern California. Prior to this I lived in San Francisco, the upper Midwest, Canada and the UK. I was educated at Cambridge University.
I have been a business growth professional and Fractional Chief Operating Officer to my Clients for over 16 years, helping my Clients to grow their businesses and eventually to turn them into independently viable assets that can operate without them, if necessary. This ensures that the business can fetch the maximum valuation possible when it comes time for the Owner to sell it …even if that “sale” is merely to the next generation of the family or to key employees/management.
For over 15 years now I have been helping early stage start-ups and mid-market companies that are seeking to grow to 2-5 times their current size within the next 4-10 years. Generally their revenues are between $5M and $75M.
I enjoy what I do and I also enjoy being an advisor to the The Elite Partners for their business clients. Many of Carmen and her extended Partner’s clients are either a startup looking for guidance in their first lease, or a growth stage company seeking to make their first purchase of a commercial property. Other clients are mid-size companies looking to expand into new locations or a larger HQ space. Steve Otus has been in the mortgage business since 2003. Raised in the East Bay town of Alamo, Steve specializes in securing home loans for clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
Prior to joining Solano Mortgage in 2009, Steve ranked among the top producers at Diablo Funding Group in their Lafayette office.
Steve attended De La Salle high school and graduated from San Francisco State University in 2003. Steve takes great pride in always protecting his clients’ best interests and helping them achieve their financial goals.
